Gila Island- A Techno Thriller is Ready for Release

Produced by G.K Pillai and Santha G Pillai under the banner of Root productions written and directed by Manu Krishna, Gila is getting ready for release.

According to the sources, ‘Gila’, will tell the story of a group of youngsters who are addicted to the wrong usage of social media, which leads to suspicious murders. The reports also suggest that the story is set in an imaginary place named Gila Island and is touted as a techno-thriller.The film is shot in places such as Kuttikkanam, Peerumedu, Manimala, Kochi, and in Dubai.

The first released groovy music video track titled ‘Eeran Kattin’ sung by K.S Harisankar and Sruthy Sasidharan has skyrocketed the expectation levels of the audience and clocks more than one million views on the digital platform. Another song of Gila released titled ‘Yarumilla’ sung by K.S Harisankar already reached 1.5+ million views on YouTube and more songs are expected to release soon. One of the songs has been released in Tamil by Vijay Sethupathi and in Malayalam by Manju Warrier. The song which starts with ‘Mizhiyoram’ is sung by playback singer Divya S Menon which is soon to release.
Though the trailer of GILA is yet to be released, the released stills give a new look for actor Indrans as a bodybuilder. Also, from the sources actor, Kailash is playing an important role as a Cybercrime investigation officer.
Subhash Bala is the newcomer in the lead role. Anagha, Sriya Sree, newcomers Rinas, Shinoy, Nia, Beena, Ninnin Kasim and Shia are also part of Gila.
