‘Get Set Baby’ trailer out! Unni Mukundan starrer promises a fun-filled ride with humor and drama

Unni Mukundan returns to the big screen in a completely different avatar after the success of the most-violent film ‘Marco’, with ‘Get Set Baby’, a lighthearted entertainer directed by Vinay Govind. Packed with humor, drama, and romance, Get Set Baby is set to hit theatres on February 21.



Unni Mukundan took to his Instagram handle to share the trailer with a caption that read, “Presenting the official trailer of #GetSetBaby! This heartwarming family entertainer is all set to hit the big screens on February 21—gather your family and friends for a fun-filled movie experience, you won’t want to miss!.”


The trailer introduces Unni Mukundan’s character, Arjun, a dedicated gynaecologist who believes that “Children are blessings from God.” Flashbacks to his college days show him as the only male student in an MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology class. Now working in a hospital filled with expectant mothers, Arjun is surrounded by female colleagues and friends. However, when he meets Nikhila Vimal’s character, she isn’t impressed, calling him an “egocentric, male chauvinist.” Despite her initial reservations, her opinion of him slowly changes, leading to a romance filled with ups and downs.

Beyond the love story, the film delves into the challenges faced by Arjun and Nikhila’s character, forming the main hook of the narrative. With a strong supporting cast, including Chemban Vinod Jose, Surabhi Lakshmi, Johny Antony, Sudheesh, Shyam Mohan, Dinesh Prabhakar, and Meera Vasudevan, Get Set Baby is penned by YV Rajesh and Anoop Ravindran. The film also features music by Sam CS, cinematography by Alex J Pulickal, and editing by Arju Benn.
