Kazhcha International Film Festival (
KIFF
) a film festival organised in parallel to the International Film Festival of Kerala (
IFFK
).
The fest is an intiative of filmmaker
Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, who had differences with the IFFK officials over the section under which his own film, S Durga, was to be screened. KIFF will have Karie (Black) by Shanavas Naranipuzha as the opening film. It will also have four films by woman film makers, and Liar’s Dice by
Geethu Mohandas
will be the closing film.
Miransha Naik's Konkani movie Juze will also be screened at the fest. KIFF will run from December 8 to 11 at Lenin Balawadi Thiruvananthapuram.
