Gayathri Suresh stars in a short film, named 'Samakalikam'

'Jamna Pyari' fame Gayathri R Suresh stars in a short film named 'Samakalikam,' directed by Safwan K Bava. The movie, which has the tagline 'Nokkunnathalla Kaanunnathu,' or 'You don't see what you look for,' is featured on the plight of a young woman who gets stranded on the road in the midnight.


Gayathri's character is shown as facing a problem when her two wheeler breaks down while travelling to her hostel, after a birthday party. Two men, both of them strangers, offer to help her but she does have her reservations and doubts on whom to trust. What happens next forms the plot of the short movie.

Gayathri was last seen in Malayalam in the Nivin Pauly starrer film 'Sakhavu.'
