Popular Tamil filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon has indeed made a special place in the hearts of every Malayali audience, all thanks to his magnificent works such as ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’, ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ and many more. Now the ace filmmaker has expressed his interest in directing a Malayalam movie next year.

Talking to a media outlet, Gautham Vasudev Menon said that he is planning to direct a Malayalam movie next year.He also reportedly said that he is interested in working with the actors Mammootty and Fahadh Faasil for the movie.
Talking further, Gautham Vasudev Menon reportedly said that although he always lived in Chennai, he tried to maintain his connections with Kerala as his grandmother lived in Ottapalam and he used to visit her every year during summer holidays.

Gautham Vasudev Menon also told the media that he learned how to speak Malayalam and has also watched a lot of Malayalam movies, and he considers it a privilege to be part of such a reputed industry.
Meanwhile, Gautham Vasudev Menon will be playing a significant role in the upcoming Mammootty-starrer thriller ‘Bazooka’ which is directed by Deeno.
