Ganesh Kumar gets hitched again

Actor-politician K B Ganesh Kumar, who recently got divorced from his first wife Dr Yamini Thankachi, tied the knot for the second time yesterday in a private ceremony. His new life partner is Bindu Menon, who works in the Gulf bureau of a prominent Malayalam TV news channel. The wedding was at Keezhoottu Tharavadu, Ganesh’s family residence at Valakom near Kottarakkara.
Just about 100 invitees, including close friends and relatives, were invited to the ceremony. And among them only 15 were from the bride’s side. Filmmaker and Ganesh’s friend Shaji Kailas is one of the few celebrities from tinseltown who took part in the wedding ceremony.
As per reports, it is the second marriage of Bindu Menon as well. The couple got engaged at Bindu’s residence in Palakkad last year with family members alone gracing the occasion.
Ganesh, whose last film was Priyadarshan’s Geethanjali, had resigned from his post as Minister for Forest and Environment following his divorce saga taking an ugly turn. He has been hosting the popular TV show Nammal Thammil for quite a while. He has two sons.
