The ‘John Wick’, ‘Game of Thrones’ actor Jerome Flynn is all set to make his debut in the Malayalam film industry. The makers of the upcoming Mohanlal - Prithviraj Sukumaran’s action drama film ‘L2: Empuraan’ have unveiled the character look poster for the ‘GOT’ actor.
Prithviraj Sukumaran took to his official Instagram handle to share the character look poster for Jerome Flynn who will be playing the role of Boris Oliver in ‘Empuraan’. Prithviraj shared a caption that read, “Character No.07 Jerome Flynn as Boris Oliver in #L2E #EMPURAAN Malayalam | Tamil | Hindi | Telugu | Kannada.”
Along with the poster, the makers also shared a video where Jerome says, “My name is Jerome Flynn and I play the part of Boris in Empuraan’ or ‘L2E’. I can’t quite remember how I got roped into this job. But I am so glad I did because it was a completely different experience from what I am used to having over in the UK or the US. And to be part of the Mollywood culture of things. And to get a taste of that was really special. It’s extra special to me, I think because India was a really important, precious part of my journey.”
He further said, “I spent several years coming over here in my late 20s and early 30s, most on spiritual retreat. And the whole experience of being in India, it changed my life forever. In the best possible way. So doing this job rather felt like coming home. And the vibe on the set even though we never went to India, it was like being back in the middle of a Delhi roundabout. It was a kind of this beautiful orchestrated chaos and everybody was really sweet and really loving their job and it made it one of the most enjoyable jobs I have done.”
Jerome further said that his character plays an important role in Abraam Khureshi’s journey.
