'G1': Sreenath Bhasi to lead a survival thriller; filming begins in Vagamon

Actor Sreenath Bhasi is set to headline an intense new survival thriller titled 'G1'. The film, written and directed by debutant Shan M, officially began its journey with a pooja ceremony held in Vagamon. The event was marked by the lighting of the traditional lamp, with Shan M joined by Sabin Nambiar, Riyad V Ismail, Nijin Divakaran, and Sunny Vagamon.

Joining Sreenath Bhasi in the film is a talented ensemble cast including Indrans, Jaffer Idukki, Abu Salim, Prashanth Murali, Biju Sopanam, Vaishakh Vijayan, Shaun, Nasleelin Jameela, and Pauly Valsan. Sreehari will be composing the music, Sharafu penning the lyrics, and Vinayan handling editing duties. Shooting will take place across Vagamon, Munnar, Kodaikanal, and Ernakulam.

This project marks Sreenath Bhasi’s return to a survival-thriller setup after the massive success of 'Manjummel Boys', which became one of the most celebrated Malayalam films of the year. That film, directed by Chidambaram, also featured actors like Soubin Shahir, Jr Lal, Arun Kumar, and Ganapathi in pivotal roles.
