Friends and family of Nakul Thampi seek financial support for medical expenses after his accident last month

'Pathinettam Padi' famed actor Nakul Thampi met with an accident last month on January 5. The 20-year-old actor was critically injured and is currently under treatment at Velammal Hospital, Madurai. The budding actor has suffered severe brain injury apart from a dislocated hip, clavicle and nasal fractures and has been in the hospital for over a month now.Nakul’s family and friends from showbiz including Ahaana Krishna and Saniya Iyappan have requested fans to help them in raising funds for the actor's treatment. A note published on a fundraising organization’s website mentions that the family has spent over Rs. 7 lakh at the hospital and are in need of another Rs 12 lakh within 15 days for Nakul’s further treatment.
‘Luca’ actress Ahaana Krishna and ‘Queen’ fame Saniya Iyappan have shared the same on their social media accounts, requesting support for the actor and his family. Ahaana wrote, “Nakul Thampi, who met with an accident on the 5th of January .. is still admitted at Velammal Hospital, Madurai. He is still bravely fighting to come back and is yet to open his eyes. As you can imagine, a month in the ICU is a very expensive affair .. and currently, the family is in need of a big fund. 'Pathinettam Padi' fame actor Nakul Thampi met with an accident on January 5 when he was travelling with his friend Adithyan. A private bus hit their car and the duo were seriously injured. Nakul was sitting in the front passenger seat of the car and hence suffered serious injuries during the accident.
Nakul Thampi shot to fame with his appearance in a popular dance reality show. The actor made his debut in Mollywood with the 2019 release 'Pathinettam Padi'.
