Former child anchors to play lead roles in Malayalam cinema

Brother-sister duo Mridula and Mithun Murali, who were popular child anchors on the small screen, will now play the lead in Mollywood.
Mithun, who made his tinseltown debut in the critically acclaimed Tamil film Vazhakku Enn 18/9, will be seen in M Renjith���s next. The big screen, though is not new to Mridula either, as she has been a part of Shaji Kailas���s Red Chillies.However, in a first of sorts, she will star opposite Nishan in Manu Sudhakaran���s directorial.
���My brother and I are set to play lead roles for the first time. Coincidentally, both our films are scheduled for release in the same month,��� says Mridula.
Mridula has also signed up to play the lead in K-Town flick Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA ��� a sequel to the yesteryear hit, Amaidhi Padai. The film, directed by Manivannan, also stars Mannivannan���s son Raghu in the lead role.
