First look poster of Aparna Balamurali’s ‘Ini Utharam’ out!

Aparna Balamurali, who recently won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in the Tamil movie ‘Soorarai Pottru’ is flooded with some exciting projects. The actress is headlining the upcoming film ‘Ini Utharam’ and the makers have launched the first look poster of the film. Featuring Aparna Balamurali in the midst of a police squad, and her eyes filled with resentment.

The film is helmed by Sudheesh Ramachandran and has Aparna Balamurali and Kalabhavan Shajon in the lead roles. The tag line of ‘Ini Utharam’ reads “Every answer has a question,” and is touted to be a thriller. The film also has Harish Uthaman, Siddharth Menon, Siddique, Jafar Idukki, Chanthunath, Shaju Sreedhar, Jayan Cherthala, Dinesh P, and Bhagyaraj in supporting roles.
‘Ini Utharam’ is scripted by Ranjith Unni, and the film is currently in the post-production phase. Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing the music for the film and the lyrics are penned by Vinayak Sasikumar.
Meanwhile, the 68th National Film Awards were announced on July 22 and upon bagging the Best Actress award, Aparna Balamurali expressed, “Today it fills my heart, the least to say, seeing all the efforts being rewarded at astounding scales. Winning this along with Suriya Sir, Sudha Ma'am and GV Prakash Kumar makes Soorarai Pottru special more than ever before. Can't thank them enough in trusting me with this. And the gratitude extends to every single person who have seen me through this, right from the beginning. And I whole heartedly dedicate this award to my grandfather MCS Menon, who would have celebrated this the most with me and been the happiest, if he was around.”

On the work front, Aparna Balamurali also has ‘Sundari Gardens’, and ‘Mindiyum Paranjum’ in the pipeline among others.
