Mollywood’s young heartthrob,
Dulquer Salmaan has been often criticised for not playing a naadan role in his film career. Be it the NRI roles in 'ABCD' and 'Ustad Hotel' or the underworld gangster in 'Second Show' and 'Kammattipadam', the actor always portrayed characters with a contemporary touch.
Putting an end to all that the actor is all set to flaunt a naadan look complete with a lungi in
Lal Jose’s upcoming movie, 'Oru Bhayankara Kamukan'.
The movie had piqued curiosity from the day it was announced for the team behind it —Lal Jose and
Unni R.
Now, Lal Jose tells us exclusively that the film’s hero, Dulquer will be seen as a villager in it.
“The story happens in a hamlet adjacent to a forest and the protagonist will be a resident of that village,” says Lal Jose adding that this film will explore the simpleton in him.
“The scripting is going on and I cannot divulge much about it. However the film will go on floors in March 2017,” he says.
Earlier the Vikrama-dityan director had told us that he will be soon doing a movie scripted by Sreenivasan. Regarding its progress, he says, “The film has been shelved as after hearing the script, my assistants told me that the film has some serious similarities with a European movie.”
However, Lal Jose says that the duo will be doing a movie later with a different subject.
