It’s been almost three years since director
Venu’s film Munnariyipu hit the theatres. Now, the filmmaker is ready to start work on his next titled
Carbon
, which will go on floors by August 17.
The film has
Fahadh Faasil playing a rustic youth named Siby while
Mamta Mohandas essays the female protagonist. Apart from the duo, the film will also have
Dileesh Pothen
, Nedumudi Venu, Soubin Shahir and Vijayaraghavan in pivotal roles.
Siby Thottupuram, who will be bankrolling the movie, says, “It’s a commercial entertainer, unlike Venu’s previous film. Vishal Bharadwaj would be composing for the movie and also the team has ensured that there would no compromises on the technical side.” The movie will be shot in Erattupetta, Wagamon and Kuttikanam.
Meanwhile, Fahadh is also part of Anwar Rasheed’s upcoming film Trance, which has Nagercoil as one of the main locations.
