Fahadh Faasil wins the Best Actor Award at the 65th Jio Filmfare Awards, South

Fahadh Faasil's portrayal of a chain snatcher in the Dileesh Pothen movie 'Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum' had won him a National Award a few months ago.
The actor's performance also impressed the jury of the 65th Jio Filmfare Awards, and he was awarded the Best Male Actor title at the event. Fahadh wasn't present at the venue to collect the award, but many of the film's crew members, such as producers Sandeep Senan and Aneesh M Thomas, and actor Alencier Ley, made the 'Thondimuthal' team's presence felt at the event.
'Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum' was scripted by Sajeev Pazhoor and it also had Suraj Venjaramoodu, Nimisha Sajayan, Mini Thomas, Vettukkili Prakash and K T Sudhakaran in important roles.
