Suraj Venjaramoodu for an upcoming movie titled ‘Roy’. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes, Sunil Ibrahim shares his views on the heated discussion.“I personally want ‘Roy’ to release in theatres. I hope all the directors wish the same. The filmmaker also adds that watching movies in the cinema hall is an experience altogether and it is quintessential for a filmmaker. “In the cinemas, we get an immediate response and it is important for a maker to know such reactions. To watch the movie along with the audience in the cinema halls is an experience on its own. We cannot know the feedback while releasing a movie directly to the OTT platforms unless some people discuss it on movie-related groups. Whereas the cinema halls give us immediate feedback. A maker will get an immediate response while a movie is screened in the cinema halls. A filmmaker can catch the response to each and every scene he/she has crafted. And that’s an experience,” he added. Sunil Ibrahim signed off adding that his team is trying their best to release
