Exciting to see superhero actor Hrithik Roshan supporting our superhero movie: Basil Joseph

The Minnal Murali team is excited about the social media messages from

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan

and Extraction director Sam Hargrave about the

Tovino superhero film

. Director Basil Joseph says, "We are really happy to see an actor like Hrithik Roshan, who himself has played a superhero in Krrish, find our teaser interesting. We are super encouraged by it," he says.



"There is a demand for superhero films and our biggest challenge is to meet expectations. With the response that the teaser has received, we are a bit more confident that we will be able to bring it out well.” Basil feels that people all over the world will be keen to watch a lungi-wearing superhero, from a small village in Kerala. "I guess that might be what attracted Sam Hargrave too," he says.



The major sequences of the movie are yet to be shot. "We have no plans to rewrite the script to get around lockdown restrictions. We will wait it out. There is a crowd scene, which we can do only when things come to normal," he says.
