Malayalam actress Vincy Aloshious has come forward with serious allegations against a co-actor, accusing him of drug use and inappropriate behaviour on a film set. Her revelations have sparked discussions within the film industry, with actors' association AMMA reportedly stepping in to examine the matter.

Vincy’s statements were triggered by her participation in an anti-drug campaign, where she publicly declared that she wouldn’t work with drug users again. Following online backlash, she released a video on Instagram explaining that her decision came from a deeply troubling on-set experience that affected her mental well-being.

Vincy described a specific moment on set when a male lead actor allegedly made her uncomfortable by offering to adjust her costume in public while under the influence. She and another female co-star were subjected to inappropriate behaviour, making it difficult for her to continue with the shoot. It was clear that he was using drugs, and it made the environment difficult to work in,” she said.

The actress recounted a scene where the actor was visibly using drugs, noting an instance of him spitting white powder during rehearsals. She clarified that her issue wasn’t with personal choices but with the unsafe, disrespectful environment it created on set.

According to News 18, the actors’ body AMMA has discussed the issue via its ad-hoc committee. Member Jayan Cherthala commended Vincy’s courage and confirmed that the association will take action if she files a formal complaint. He also urged her to name the accused actor to facilitate further steps.
