In an interview with Cue Studio, Mahesh Narayanan made some clarifications about the speculations surrounding the project. Here are a few of them.


Not based on Kamal Haasan’s script


Earlier there were speculations that the movie is based on a script penned by Kamal Haasan and Mahesh Narayanan has recently defied the rumors. Mahesh Narayanan also revealed that the movie is not based on a ny real-life based incidents and also Kamal Haasan’s script-based movie is another one.

An IV Sasi, T Damodharan touch

Mahesh Narayanan’s multi-starrer will be treated in an IV Sasi, T Damodharan style action drama movies such as ‘Vartha’, ‘Iniyenkilum’, and ‘Ee Naadu’.

Big Budget action thriller

As expected, the Mahesh Narayanan’s directorial will be reportedly a big budget action thriller film. The cast of the movie includes, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, Nayanthara, Darshana Rajendran, Revathi, and many others.

Mohanlal in full-fledged role

Happy news for the Mohanlal fans as the legendary actor will not be making just a cameo appearance in the Mahesh Narayanan’s directorial. Reportedly, Mohanlal will be playing a full-fledged role in the film. Additionally both Fahadh and Kunchacko Boban will be having solid characters to perform and it’s said to be a writer-driven movie with a Mahesh Narayanan touch to it.

Initially planned as a Mammootty film

According to the sources, the film was initially planned to just star Mammootty in the lead, with Fahadh Faasil as one of the producers. Fahadh Faasil later came on board along with Mohanlal.

An unconventional film

Mahesh Narayanan has a unique style of presenting stories on-screen and the same goes to this new project. The movie will be shot in multiple locations such as Sri Lanka, London, Abu Dhabi and several cities in India.
