Earning money isn’t the only objective when you make a film: Lal
Actor-director Lal is currently busy with the post-production of his film Tsunmai, which he is co-directing with son Jean Paul Lal. The film had finished shooting in June, once the lockdown restrictions were eased.
On the release plans for the movie that is currently in post-production, Lal says, “When you make a movie, there are a lot of dreams; earning money is not the only objective.
1x1 polls
This is an out-and-out comedy and we want people to watch, laugh out loud and applaud in cinema halls. I have always wanted to experience that since Ramji Rao Speaking released in theatres. I don’t want that to be restricted within the walls of a house. That said, a few months ago, nobody thought we would be wearing masks and confined to our homes. So, if we are pushed against the wall then we might have to relent. But I am highly optimistic about people coming back to theatres.”
The movie has Balu Varghese, Innocent, Suresh Krishna and Aju Varghese in pivotal roles.
