It’s no secret that
Dulquer Salmaan has a fan base in Telugu even though the actor is yet to do a Telugu production. The dubbed versions of his movie Ustad Hotel, Bangalore Days and 100 Days of Love have been hits in the industry and now the actor is finally venturing to Tollywood.
Dulquer has officially signed the upcoming biopic on actress Savithri, which is titled
Mahanati
and is directed by Nag Ashwin. The movie has
Keerthy Suresh playing
Savithri
while Samantha too has been roped in for a pivotal role.
Dulquer will be playing the legendary Tamil actor
Gemini Ganesan in the film. Gemini Ganesan and Savithri’s romance will also be showcased in the film. The movie will go on floors by next month.
