Dulquer Salmaan starrer 'King of Kotha' gets a release date!

Dulquer Salmaan’s much awaited mass entertainer ‘King of Kotha’ has locked its release date. The film will hit the big screen on August 24. The makers are aiming for a festival release, on the auspicious occasion of Onam. The big-ticket is hitting the theaters as a solo release without rivals in over four hundred screens in Kerala. The makers had earlier launched the teaser and song from the film, which has set the right amount of buzz amongst the movie buffs. Directed by Abhilash Joshiy, ‘King Of Kotha’ is billed as a gangster drama. The film which will be released at the pan-Indian level is sure to make waves at the box office. If reports are to be believed, ‘King Of Kotha’ is the most expensive film Dulquer Salmaan's career and also the most challenging character he has played so far. Aishwarya Lekshmi has roped in to play the leading lady in ‘King Of Kotha’. Actors Shabir Kallarakkal, Prasanna, Chemban Vinod, Shammi Thilakan, Gokul Suresh, Vadachennai Sharan, Nyla Usha, Shanthi Krishna, and Anikha Surendran are part of the cast. The film is scripted by Abhilash N Chandran. On the technical side, the cinematography of ‘King Of Kotha’ is done by Nimish Ravi. Shyam Sasidharan is the editor. Jakes Bejoy and Shaan Rahman are composing the music for the film. The production design is done by Nimesh M. Thanoor. Dulquer Salmaan has considered ‘King Of Kotha’ as his dream project, and all eyes are on the film.
