Actor-photographer Shani Shaki announced his debut directorial titled 'Oh! Mother India' which will be based on the real-life story of
Thrissur
native Sarath Krishnan and his mother, Geetha.
Dulquer Salmaan announced the project by sharing the poster of the movie on his social media handle. Shani Shaki, the director of the upcoming movie also revealed that it was Dulquer who suggested him to make a film on this subject. He revealed that his interest in filmmaking increased when he worked on TV commercials. Shani also added that he was determined to make a film after he chanced upon the story of Sarath and his mom.
While Dulquer Salmaan released the first poster, details of the cast have not been revealed yet.
