Noted dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi recently shared her sad story on social media as she witnessed the demolition of her former residence, 'Swaram', located in Thiruvananthapuram. Through glimpses of the house's transformation over the years, Bhagyalakshmi recounted the toil she invested in building the home and expressed the sorrow of parting ways with it.
Taking to her official Instagram handle, Bhagyalakshmi penned an emotional note, declaring, "No one should stay at a place where there is no love or peace. You should leave, no matter how valuable that place is. Tranquility is what makes a man happy." She accompanied her post with a touching video showcasing old photographs from the housewarming ritual.
Bhagyalakshmi reminisced about the humble beginnings of 'Swaram', revealing that it started as a small room when she got married in 1985. Driven by a dream to build her own house, she embarked on the construction journey using earnings from her dubbing work. However, in 2000, she bid farewell to the house forever. When she revisited 'Swaram' in 2020, neither she nor her children felt the desire to return, ultimately deciding to sell it.
Reflecting on the initial construction phase, Bhagyalakshmi recalled her relentless efforts to finance the project with meager remunerations from her work. Despite her dedication, she admitted to never experiencing true peace or tranquility within the home. "I didn’t hesitate for a moment to leave the house," she asserted, reaffirming her belief that one should prioritize inner peace over material possessions.
Bhagyalakshmi's illustrious career as a dubbing artist began at the age of 10, and she made her debut with the film 'Aparadhi' in 1975. She is best known for the films 'Manichithrathazhu', 'Minnaram'. 'Commissioner', 'Hitler' and many others.
