Does Manju Warrier play Saniya Iyappan's mother in 'Lucifer'?

The makers of 'Lucifer' started unveiling the characters from the movie a while ago. However, the team hasn't yet revealed the lead characters of the film until now.
According to reports, actress Manju Warrier is expected to be handling an important role in the movie, a glimpse of which we got in the poster that was released on the occasion of Women's day. Seen sitting near a table lamp, in a serious mood, with a book rack behind her, it is reported that the actress will play Priyadarshini in the movie.On the same day of the poster release, actress Saniya Iyappan, who also features in the cast, shared image and wrote, "Amma #lucifer coming soon..." This only seems to suggest that the star will be playing Saniya's mother in the movie.

'Lucifer' marks the directorial debut of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film, said to be a political thriller stars Mohanlal in a lead role apart from actors Tovino Thomas, Vivek Oberoi, Manju Warrier, Murali Gopy, and Mamta Mohandas.
Sujith Vaassudev is the man behind the camera in this film produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Ashirvad Cinemas. 'Lucifer' is slated to release by the end of March.
