Actress Geetha Vijayan recently opened up about her unpleasant experiences in the film industry, claiming that standing up for herself led to a significant loss of opportunities. She specifically accused director Thulasidas of inappropriate behavior while filming the 1991 movie ‘Chanchattam’. The actress detailed incidents where Thulasidas allegedly knocked on her door and called her room phone, though she clarified that no physical harm occurred. Geetha further stated that she would be willing to share more details if approached by an inquiry committee.
Thulasidas, however, has strongly denied these allegations, calling them "a complete lie." In his response, the director asserted that he has always maintained good conduct with his crew during film shoots. According to a report by News 18, Thulasidas questioned why Geetha Vijayan had not raised these issues at the time, stating, “Geetha came and left the set each day happily without any troubles.”
The director also addressed a separate complaint filed by actress Sridevika, admitting that he had scolded her on set, though he claimed ignorance of the specifics of her case.
Coming to Sridevika’s case, the actress, along with Geetha Vijayan, has accused the director Thulasidas of bad behavior during the shoot for the 2006 film ‘Avan Chandiyude Makan’.
