The rumours that had been circulating online alleged that Shaji Kailas had made negative comments about Suresh Gopi, suggesting that the actor's skills had deteriorated since their iconic collaboration in the film 'Commissioner.' It was also implied that Suresh Gopi had lost his grip on the boundary between the reel and the real world. However, Shaji Kailas came forward to set the record straight, firmly stating that these claims were entirely false.

In his Facebook post, Shaji Kailas made it clear that his relationship with Suresh Gopi extended far beyond their professional collaborations, including the milestone movie 'Commissioner.' He acknowledged that conflicts and disagreements were natural in any relationship but stressed that he and Suresh Gopi shared a profound understanding of each other. Despite their differing political ideologies, their brotherly friendship remained steadfast.

The director went on to defend Suresh Gopi's character, describing him as a person with a commendable personality and a heart full of companionate love. Shaji Kailas urged those spreading false information and creating fake news to stop such activities.

Shaji Kailas’ Facebook note translates, “I have seen many people sharing something that I have not mentioned in social media for the past few days. Remember one thing. The relationship between me and Suresh didn't start with the commissioner. We've been friends since the day we came to the movies. Suresh was the hero in my first film. Suresh will be the hero in my next movie too. Matches and conflicts happen between us. We both know the depth and extent of that. Then and now I know he has a good personality with a companion's love. His politics and my politics are different. But our brotherly friendship goes beyond politics. I can't ruin it. Those who enjoy creating such fake news, please stop such activities. This is something that causes a lot of mental pain.”

On the other hand, Shaji Kailas, as mentioned in his note, will be teaming up again with Suresh Gopi for the upcoming sequel to ‘Chinthamani Kolacase'.
