I had removed my post as I had felt that the language I used wasn't appropriate but still I was attacked today morning. When I was leaving my home, an RSS activist came and threw cow dung on me and hit me with the bucket," explains Priyanandanan.
Priyanandanan has informed the police and has also filed a complaint against the attack. On the attack, Priyanandanan says, "Everybody has the freedom to express and I think the rest should respect it. I am a filmmaker who have always wished good in the society and I wrote what I felt and I also realised that I shouldn't write anything provocative and the language I used wasn't aprropriate, hence, I removed the post. If someone is feeling that one shouldn't have the freedom to express anything that is against their likness, then it is fascism."
Priyanandanan had faced flakes earlier for posting his opinion on women entry at Sabarimala. He had removed the post following the hullabaloo.
