Director Joshiy denies rumors of teaming up with Mohanlal for his next

There was a huge buzz on social media recently saying that the renowned director Joshiy will be doing a project with Mohanlal for his next. The rumors literally hyped up the excitement of the fans and movie buffs as the director is well known for delivering several commercially successful ventures. Now, as per the reports, the director himself has bashed all those rumors and reportedly said that he hasn’t yet decided on the matter of teaming up with Mohanlal for his next.During an interview with an online media channel, director Joshiy reportedly said that all the news spreading around on social media regarding the fact that he is teaming up with Mohanlal is false. The ‘Paappan’ director further said that even though he has some story ideas in his mind they will take some time to surface and currently he has no plans to do a Mohanlal project.Joshiy also reportedly said that the editing process of his next Suresh Gopi starrer ‘Paappan’ is going in full swing and once the first copy is ready, then the film will head straight to its release. Joshiy’s previous team-up with Mohanlal was for the action thriller ‘Lailaa O Lailaa’ which was released in the year 2015. Even though the film had an A-list cast, ‘Lailaa O Lailaa’ failed to make it big at the box office due to its poor responses from the audience.On the other hand, Joshiy’s team-up with Suresh Gopi, ‘Paappan’, has a huge level of anticipation from the audience as the duo has never failed to entertain the audience.‘Paappan’ is touted as an investigative thriller and Suresh Gopi plays a retired police officer character named Abraham Mathew Mathan aka ‘Paappan’. The film also has the actors Gokul Suresh, Nyla Usha, Neeta Pillai, Asha Sharath, and Kaniha in pivotal roles.
