Malayalam movie ‘Queen’ helmed by
Dijo Jose Antony has clocked four years since its release today (Jan 12) and the director has penned a heartwarming note celebrating the milestone.

He also shared a throwback video of him exiting the theatre after the screening of the film and the audience lauding him. Helmed by Dijo Jose Antony, 'Queen' was a campus movie. The film talked about a girl joining the mechanical engineering batch and the events that follows. The film featured a bunch of new faces, including Saniya Iyappan, who played the lead role of Chinnnu in the film. The movie was received well in the cinemas, however, received some critical feedback for the misrepresentation of rape survivors.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Dijo Jose Antony is currently working on his second film titled ‘
Jana Gana Mana’. The film will feature Prithviraj Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and
Mamta Mohandas in lead roles. The makers had earlier dropped a promo and it was well-received. The movie is expected to hit the cinemas this year.
