In a candid conversation with The Cue channel, Unnikrishnan emphasized that while online reviews might have pulled back some viewers from watching ‘Christopher’ at the theaters, blaming the film's complete failure on these reviews would be unjust.

Contrary to assumptions linking negative reviews to box office results, B. Unnikrishnan pointed out instances where movies, despite negative receptions, managed to succeed commercially. He suggested that while reviews may influence a segment of the audience, they shouldn't shoulder the entire blame for a film's shortcomings at the box office.

Highlighting ongoing legal scrutiny, Unnikrishnan mentioned the intense regulations on review bombing and the judiciary's ongoing assessment. He hinted that, depending on the court's ruling, the review system might undergo redefinition in the future.

'Christopher' marked Unnikrishnan's second collaboration with writer Udayakrishna. Compared to 'Aaraattu' and ‘Monster’, the script penned by Udayakrishna for ‘Christopher’ was said to be a decent one, even though the movie didn’t manage to rake in good numbers at the box office.

Looking ahead, B. Unnikrishnan will be collaborating with the 'Bheeshma Parvam' writer Devadath Shaji. Further details about the project regarding the cast and crew are kept under wraps.
