Dileesh Pothan shares a memory on the third year of the release of ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’

’ has clocked three yesterday. It has been three years since the movie was released and Dileesh Pothan has taken to his social media handle to reminisce the project. Sharing a couple of pictures taken during the filming of the movie, Dileesh has captioned it as ‘Three years of teamwork’. The 2017 release featured Suraj Venjaramoodu, Fahadh Faasil and Nimisha Sajayan in lead roles.

Check out Dileesh Pothan’s post.Directed by Dileesh Pothan, the movie had one of the best performances of Fahadh Faasil and Suraj Venjaramoodu. Nimisha Sajayan marked her debut with ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’ and gave an intense performance. The movie told the story of Prasad (Suraj Venjaramoodu) and Sreeja (Nimisha Sajayan) getting married. The inter-caste couple decides to move to another place and during the bus journey, Prasad (Fahadh Faasil), a local thief snatches Sreeja’s chain.

Sajeev Pazhoor has crafted the screenplay and Rajeev Ravi cranked the lens. Bijibal was the music composer for the movie and it was backed by Sandip Senan and Anish M Thomas under the banner of Urvasi Theatres.The movie won three National Film Awards, for the best feature film in Malayalam; best screenplay and best-supporting actor award for Fahadh Faasil.

The movie also won two Kerala State Film awards; for the best screenplay and best character actor (Alencier Lopez). The movie also earned a huge response at the box office.
