Dileep row: AMMA's meeting with actresses begins

The meeting between Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) and actresses Parvathy, Revathy and Padmapriya who are also members of WCC is going on at Crowne Plaza. Kochi. The meeting was called after the actresses asked for an emergency executive meeting by sending a letter to AMMA questioning the rationale behind the association's decision to reinstate Dileep, who was arrested as part of the actress assault and abduction in February 2017.
Actressess Rima Kallingal, Ramya Nambeeshan, Geethu Mohandas and the survivor had resigned from AMMA after reinstating Dileep during the General Body meeting of AMMA.
Those attending the meeting other than the three actresses include Rachana Narayanankutty, Mukesh, Jayasurya, Aju Varghese Tiny Tom Asif Ali, Swetha Menon, Siddhique, Jagadheesh, Baburaj and Indrans.
