, which was directed by Jenuse Mohamed, became the talking point after the film hit the theatres. It was packed with enough material to keep the audience guessing about its ending and no wonder many fan theories cropped up in the process as well.
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that no film in the recent past had the audience talking about it so much after leaving the theatres as 9, and all credit goes to the makers of the film. Incidentally, the film’s co-producer and lead actor Prithviraj had also embedded an Easter Egg of sorts that could have pointed to his directorial debut titled
Lucifer
.
In a few scenes in the film set in the room with the fireplace, one could spot the painting of Lucifer in his ‘goat man’ avatar above the fireplace mantel. Whether it’s a direct tribute to his upcoming directorial debut or a subtle hint of Lucifer’s deception and manipulation, which also forms a major thread in the film 9, it’s anybody’s guess!
