Aditi Rao Hydari has emerged as one of the most sought after actors in South and Bollywood movie industries. But did you know that the ‘Padmavat’ actress marked her debut in movies through Mollywood? Yes, you read it right, the diva entered show business through Malayalam movie ‘Prajapathi’.
2006 release ‘Prajapathi’ happens to be Aditi’s first release. She essayed one of the pivotal characters, Savithri, in the Mammootty starrer.As per the sources, it was actress Suhasini, who recommended Aditi to director Ranjith, for the role in his directorial ‘Prajapathi’. Later Aditi Rao went on becoming one of the busy stars in Hindi as well as Tamil cinema.
Aditi has recently appeared in a Malayalam film alongside Jayasurya. The amazing talent has also signed for a Tamil movie ‘Hey Sinamika’ helmed choreographer Brinda master. Aditi Rao Hydari will be co-starring with Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan in the movie.
For those who might not know, Prajapathi is a 2006 release Malayalam movie directed by Ranjith. The filmmaker himself crafted the screenplay for the movie, while Alagappan N was the cinematographer. Tej Manoj composed the music for the movie while Girish Puthencherry penned the lyrics. Mammootty essayed the lead of Devar Madom Narayanan in the movie. The movie also had actors like Sreenivasan, Siddique, Thilakan, Nedumudi Veny, Seema, and Salim Kumar in supporting roles. Despite a stellar cast, the movie failed to impress the audience because of its poor storyline.
