Dhyan Sreenivasan reveals the reason behind the 'Udal’ OTT release delay

Dhyan Sreenivasan’s ‘Udal’ is indeed one of the best thrillers of 2022 from the Mollywood film industry, and unfortunately, there has been no update regarding the digital streaming of the dark thriller yet. Now Dhyan Sreenivasan himself has come forward and given an explanation to a media outlet regarding the delay in the OTT streaming of ‘Udal’.


Talking to a media outlet, Dhyan Sreenivasan said that the makers have some plans to remake the movie in several other languages, including Hindi. For the same reason, the makers of ‘Udal’ are delaying the release of the movie via OTT platforms.

Dhyan Sreenivasan reportedly expressed that while director Ratheesh Reghunandan mentioned the remake issue as the reason for the delay in the digital streaming of the Indrans starrer 'Udal,' Dhyan himself is not entirely certain if this is the actual cause behind the delay.

As the situation unfolds, moviegoers eagerly await official updates from the filmmakers to shed light on the actual reasons influencing the film's digital release. Earlier, there were reports that the film would start streaming soon via a popular OTT platform.

‘Udal’, directed by Ratheesh Reghunandan, also had the actress Durga Krishna in the lead role, along with Dhyan Sreenivasan and Indrans.
