At the same time, it looks like Dhyan has been bagging several interesting projects as an actor too. In newbie director Sanjith Chandrasenan’s upcoming thriller Thrayam, which also has Sunny Wayne, Niranj Maniyanpilla, Rahul Madhav, Dain Davis and Aju Varghese in major roles, Dhyan plays a common man, says the director. Its script is by Arun K Gopinath, who had previously written the film God’s Own Country.

Sanjith explains, “Dhyan’s character in the film, Aashiq, is a common man who is forced to commit a crime at a particular juncture in the story. The whole story unfolds at night; it will be an unconventional thriller that unfolds in a non-linear fashion. The movie’s shoot is wrapped up.” The director adds that all of the main characters share equal importance in the film, which has music by Arun Muralidharan.
