In a press interaction, Dhyan Sreenivasan shared his thoughts on the matter, expressing skepticism about Ramesh Narayan's apology. “I don’t think Ramesh Narayan’s apology was genuine. He may have felt bad when his name was mispronounced as Santosh Narayan, but this is not the right way to respond,” Dhyan remarked. He further emphasized that while Ramesh Narayan might have been upset by the organizers' mishandling, venting his frustration on Asif Ali was inappropriate.

Meanwhile, Asif Ali, responding to the controversy in a press conference on the last day, acknowledged the support from his fans but urged them not to turn the issue into a hate campaign against Ramesh Narayan. "Even though I love the fact that many support me and respond to the issue, I plead with my supporters not to turn this into a hate campaign against Ramesh Narayan," Asif Ali stated.

For those unfamiliar with the controversy, it began when Ramesh Narayan, a respected music composer, refused to accept an award from Asif Ali during the ‘Manorathangal’ trailer launch. The incident soon sparked discussions among netizens with a rising support for Asif Ali.
