The much-anticipated thriller 'Dhoomam,' helmed by filmmaker Pawan Kumar and featuring Fahadh Faasil in a riveting role, has finally made its streaming debut on Apple TV.
Director Pawan Kumar shared the news of the film's OTT release through his official Twitter handle, bringing the intense drama directly to audiences' screens.
Released in theatres earlier this year, 'Dhoomam' arrived amidst high expectations owing to the creative prowess of both Pawan and Fahadh Faasil. However, despite the anticipation, the film received mixed reviews and had a modest performance at the box office, failing to create the anticipated impact.
The narrative of 'Dhoomam' revolves around a man awakening with no recollection of his past, compelling him to reconstruct his identity. As he delves into his past, he stumbles upon a dark secret that threatens his existence, unfolding in a dual storyline. Fahadh Faasil's character navigates through the present, entangled with his wife, while concurrently unravelling his professional life in the past and retaining his marketing job at a friend's company.
This venture marks director Pawan Kumar's entry into the Malayalam film industry. Alongside Fahadh Faasil, 'Dhoomam' boasts a talented ensemble cast featuring Aparna Balamurali, Roshan Mathew, Achyuth Kumar, Anu Mohan, and Vineeth, adding depth and dimension to the narrative.
