Devi impressed by Thala Ajith

Actress Devi Ajith’s career seems to be going great guns. She will be seen next in a Tamil film directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, which is also Thala Ajith’s 55th film. Devi will play the wife of actor Thalaivasal Vijay in the film.
Devi says, “It was great to receive a call for this for which I had auditioned months ago. My first shot with him was a marriage scene, where Ajith’s character marries Trisha’s.Ajith was really nice to me and said Vanakkam, when we met. He did not recede to his caravan but preferred to spend time with the rest of the crew. We sat and spoke for a long time about Malayalam films and his wife Shalini. And let me say that he is very handsome even without makeup! In this film that is yet untitled, he will be sporting a new look.”
Anikha, who bagged the best Child Actress Award this year through Onnum Mindathe plays Ajith’s daughter in the movie. This is Devi’s second film in Tamil after Sorraiyaadal, directed by Kannan Thamrakulam. Her next in Kollywood is the Nayanthara-Jayam Ravi film directed by Jayam Raja. She will also be seen in Rajesh Pillai’s Mili,Anugram directed by Deepesh, and Suresh Gopi’s Malooty Sabu by Tiwin Varghese.
