Deepika Padukone is busy promoting 'Chhapaak', which is inspired from the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. 'Chhapaak' has become the talk of the town ever since its trailer was released and several netizens are comparing the film to Malayalam movie 'Uyare'. The films featured Parvathy Thiruvothu essaying Pallavi, who is an acid attack survivor.
With the two films being compared, Deepika recently reacted to the same and stated that each person has a different way of telling a story.

The actress further added that someone else may decide to make a movie on the same theme, but the movies will be different, because each of them will have a different texture. 'Chhapaak' and 'Uyare' are being compared as both the films narrate the story of acid attack survivors. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, ‘Chhapaak’ is scheduled to hit the screens on January 10.


Meanwhile, Parvathy Thiruvothu was last seen in 'Virus' essaying Dr Annu. Sidhartha Siva directorial 'Varthamanam' will be Paravathy's next release.
