Darshana Rajendran - Basil Joseph starrer ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’ starts rolling

With a very strange yet catchy title, the Basil Joseph - Darshana Rajendran starrer upcoming film ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’ has indeed captured the attention of the movie buffs and recently the film started rolling with a Pooja function. The shoot of the film is now going in full swing in Kollam.

Helmed by the director Vipin Das who is best known for the films ‘Mudhugauv’, and the suspense thriller ‘Antakshari’, ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’ will be bringing together the talented actors Basil Joseph and Darshana Rajendran for the second time as both of them shared screen space before in the Anthology film ‘Aanum Pennum’ which was released in the year 2021.


‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’, which is touted as a comedy film is the sophomore production venture of the team which bankrolled the superhit entertainer movie ‘Jaan-e-Man’ which was directed by the debutant Chidambaram under the script penned down by Ganapathi and the director himself.

According to the reports, Basil Joseph and Darshana Rajendran will be playing married couple characters in ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hei’ and the story deals with a very serious subject told with elements of humor in it. The reports also suggest that the story revolves around a middle-class girl who is struggling to achieve her wishes in life.

The script of ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’ is penned down by the director Vipin Das along with Nashidh Muhammed Famey. Bablu Aju will crank the lens for the film and John Kutty will handle the cuts. Ankith Menon is roped in as the music composer for ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’.
The film has an ensemble cast that includes the actors Aju Varghese, Azees Nedumangad, Sudheer Paravoor, Manju Pillai, Sarath Sabha, and Harish Pengan who will be seen in pivotal roles.
On the other hand, Darshana Rajendran, who was last seen in the Vineeth Sreenivasan’s directorial film ‘Hridayam’, got much adulation from the audience for her character in the film and the actor-director Basil Joseph’s previous outing was the Santosh Sivan’s directorial sci-fi comedy film ‘Jack N Jill’.
