Cochin Haneefa's twins pose with Mohanlal

Safa and Marwa, twin daughters of late actor Cochin Haneefa, will be making their acting debut in Priyadarshan's upcoming film Geethanjali. The duo will be playing the childhood of Geetha and Anjali, the twin characters in the film, played by Keerthi Suresh, daughter of Menaka. A recent picture of the two with actor Mohanlal, who plays one of the lead characters in the film, has attracted much attention. Cochin Haneefa was much loved by his friends and associates in the film industry, and his death in 2010 by liver cancer left the industry mourning. Although he was 58 when he died, his twin daughters were very small, and have been spotted in several film functions hence.
