It's beyond doubt that the Tamil superstar
Vikram has a humongous fanbase in Kerala and for the same reason, there is genuine hype for most of his new releases. This time Vikram is tagging along with the most loved Mollywood actor
Roshan Mathew through his recently released film ‘
Cobra’. From the trailers to songs, ‘Cobra’ promised to be an intense action entertainer. As the film is finally out in theatres and is getting positive reviews from the Tamil audience, did the Vikram starrer satisfy the Malayali audience? Let's take a look at what netizens have to say about ‘Cobra’.
According to one Malayalam movie Twitter forum, ‘Cobra’ is said to be having a pretty decent first half that is followed by a much better second half. Actors Vikram, Roshan Mathew, Mrunalini, Sarjano Khalid, and Irfan are said to have performed exceptionally in this action entertainer.
Another Malayalam movie Twitter forum said that ‘Cobra’ has a very average first half that is made on a big canvas. The same Twitter forum shared much adulation for the Vikram starrer’s terrific interval block that is indeed goosebumps-worthy.
One negative aspect shared by the Malayalam Twitter forums is that even though the film has some engaging aspect that is coupled with drama, the psychological angle of ‘Cobra’ is said to be uneven and some scenes feel a bit overstretched.
Overall, Vikram starrer ‘Cobra’ is getting mixed responses from the Malayali audience but the majority of them are saying that the film is a complete ‘Paisa Vasool’ one.
Helmed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu, ‘Cobra’ features a stunning cast that includes Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty,
Irfan Pathan, Roshan Mathew, Miya George, and Mirnalini Ravi in major lead roles.
