In an exciting development for fans of the hit Malayalam comedy film 'CID Moosa,' director Johny Antony has reportedly confirmed the much-anticipated sequel for the Dileep starrer. Building upon the success of the original film, which became a cult favourite for its uproarious humour and memorable characters, movie buffs are expecting the sequel to deliver double the laughter and entertainment.
Talking to a media outlet, the director-actor Johny Antony said that the sequel to ‘CID Moosa’ is in the discussion stage as of now. Reportedly, the sequel will revolve around CID Moosa and his adorable dog, Arjun.
According to the sources, Udaykrishna and Sibi K. Thomas will be penning the script for Dileep’s ‘CID Moosa’ 2.
Meanwhile, netizens are also expressing concerns and pointing out that the chemistry and dynamics established among the original cast, who are no more, were instrumental in the film's success. The absence of these experienced performers raises doubts about the sequel's ability to replicate the comedic brilliance that made 'CID Moosa' a superhit.
On the other hand, Dileep has several highly anticipated projects in the pipeline for this year that include ‘Voice of Sathyanathan’ and ‘Bandra’.
