The megastar of Tamil cinema, Chiyaan Vikram who was once seen in supporting roles in Malayalam cinema is all set to make a grand re-entry to Mollywood with
Anwar Rasheed’s project. The official announcement of the project is expected to be made soon.
According to reports, Vikram will be part of a period drama to be directed by Anwar Rasheed which will be set against the backdrop of Malappuram district during the 70's.
The movie will be reportedly scripted by Harshad who has scripted Mammooty's upcoming project titled 'Unda'.
Vikram was known to Malayali audience for his strong supporting roles in movies like ‘Dhruvam’, ‘Sainyam’, ‘Indraprastham’ etc. His last appearance in a Malayalam movie was in 'Indryam', released in 2000. The actor currently is working with a Tamil movie directed by Rajesh M Selva.
Anwar Rasheed, meanwhile is working for his upcoming project titled 'Trance' which will have
Fahadh Faasil in lead role.
