Popular chef and film producer
Noushad passed away on Friday. He was 55. Noushad was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Thiruvalla.
Noushad and filmmaker Blessy went to school and college together and the former ventured into movies by producing Blessy’s film ‘Kazhcha’. He later went on to produce some popular movies starring some of the A-listers in the industry including ‘Chattambinadu’, ‘Best Actor’, ‘Lion’, ‘Payyans’ and ‘Spanish Masala’ among others.
Noushad’s untimely demise has left the Malayalam entertainment industry in shock. Actors, filmmakers and many others related to the industry have taken to their social media handle to pay tributes to late Noushad.
Mammootty took to his social media handle and paid tributes.
Mohanlal too mourned the demise of Noushad.

Actor-producer Vijay Babu turned emotional as he paid tributes to late Noushad. “You will be terribly missed… The love and care u always showered wherever we met will be missed. As a foodie and a person who love to cook the tips you gave me as a chef & friend will be remembered till the end of life. Playback singer MG Sreekumar said, “My heart felt condolences .My friend Naushad brother is no more. May his soul rest in peace 🙏🌹.”
Actor Manoj K Jayan penned an emotional note on Noushad’s demise. “Won’t be able to hear that loving call ‘Mone’,” the actor penned, sharing a photo with him.
Filmmaker B Unnikrishnan too mourned the demise of the late producer. “Dearest Naushad, The food that you served became Celestial because of the love that you bestowed upon the served. Adieu, my friend,” he said, in his social media post.
“A great man. Rest in peace chetta 🙏🏻,” filmmaker Jude Anthany Joseph penned.
Meanwhile, Noushad was a popular face amongst the television audience as he has chaired several cookery shows. The late producer also owns a chain of restaurants and runs a catering business in his hometown Thiruvalla.
Meanwhile, Noushad’s wife had passed away two weeks ago. The couple is survived by a 13-year-old daughter.
