‘Chatha Pacha’ actor Carmen S Mathew has penned a heartwarming note for her co-star Arjun Ashokan. The young actress, best known for her roles in ‘Officer On Duty’, ‘Ronth’, worked with
Arjun Ashokan in the recently released action comedy ‘Chatha Pacha’.
In a post shared on Instagram on Thursday, February 5, Carmen called her ‘Chatha Pacha’ co-star one of her favourite human beings.
“Achuetta, you are truly one of my favorite human beings,” she wrote.
Speaking about the experience working with Arjun Ashokan, she added, “From the very first day I met you, you have stood by me and supported us in every way. You are the one who made all of us feel comfortable, confident, and full of energy.”
She further expressed that Arjun Ashokan has now become a brother figure for the team including her. “You always put in effort for everyone, noticed even the smallest things, and guided us like a true brother.
Whenever we felt low, you came with biriyani, porotta, and beef—filling not just our stomachs but also our hearts with happiness. Thank you for always being there for us. You are a true inspiration, Achuetta. You work incredibly hard, and it truly shows. And by the way… thanks for the caravan.”
Carmem S Mathew also dropped a series of pictures and videos from the sets of ‘Chatha Pacha’.
What you should know about ‘Chatha Pacha’
‘Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies’, helmed by debutant Adhvaith Nayar, is inspired by WWE. The Malayalam film features Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath in leading roles. Set against the backdrop of the wrestling culture of Kochi, the film alos saw superstar Mammootty in a cameo role.
TOI has ranked the film 3 out of 5, and the review reads, “Adhvaith Nayar's Chatha Pacha is a film with its share of ups and downs. There are portions that are highly entertaining, followed by stretches where the narrative seems to jump all over the place. While the decision to limit the personal interactions between the two lead characters is understandable—given the chosen premise and central conflict—those interactions could have been developed more effectively. The basic storyline itself is not new, but the incorporation of costume wrestling into the narrative adds an interesting dimension. However, it is not the high voltage WWE inspired film that was promised.”
‘Chatha Pacha’ hit the cinemas on January 22. The film will soon mark it digital debut.
