Malayalam film industry saw a surge of qualitative films this year, and the
Kerala State Film Awards
have been announced. The Dulquer starrer
Charlie swept almost eight awards, and next in line is the film Ennu Ninte Moideen, which fetched around seven awards in total.
Dulquer Salmaan, who essayed the free spirited Charlie, went on to grab The Best Actor Award, while the versatile actress
Parvathy has been awarded The Best Actress Award for the film Charlie and Ennu Ninte Moideen.

Best Music Director- Ramesh Narayanan (Edavapathy, Ennu Ninte Moideen)
Best Background Score: Bijibal ( Pathemari, Nee-na)
Best Singer (male) - Jayachandran (Njnanoru Malayali -Jilebi, Ennum Epozum, Ennu Ninte Moideen)
Best Singer (female)- Madhusri Narayanan (Edavapathy)
