Chandhunadh: Prithviraj said we will definitely work together

actor G Chandhunadh along with superstars Mohanlal and Prithviraj at a private dinner party hosted by the veteran actor went viral. For Chandhunadh, the dinner provided an opportunity to talk to Prithviraj.

Chandhunadh had worked with Prithviraj earlier, while assisting in Shankar Ramakrishnan’s Pathinettam Padi. “Since my schooldays, I have admired his work. I have been even a bigger fan of his personality and how he has always chosen to tread an unconventional path. When I was working in Pathinettam Padi, Shankar sir had introduced me to him and we had a very formal talk. I couldn’t express how much I admired him back then,” he says. “But when I met him at this party, he immediately recognised me and said, ‘I told Shankar you were one of the best things in Pathinettam Padi’. That was a huge confidence booster for me.”

For the actor, it also provided him with a chance to realise another dream, or at least make baby steps towards it. “We talked a lot about how even though I didn’t have combination scenes with Mammukka in Pathinettam Padi, I started my career with that blessing. I also told him it was a big dream to act with Mohanlal and that happened. In interviews, I say that now I don’t have small dreams, but I always dream big. So, my dreams are being realised in a fancy, cinematic way. So, I told Prithviraj that I want to share screen space with him, and he told me, ‘We will definitely work together one day’. I think it’s a huge blessing to even have that conversation with someone you look up to.”
