Chambakapoo song from Vasanthi showcases Sabareesh's earthy voice
A
video song
from Vasanthi was released on social media, and theChambakapoo song
featuresSabareesh
in a toddy shop. The actor, beats a drum and also lends his voice to the love song. The short folksy number is outstanding with just his full-throated, earthy rendering and doesn’t seem to need anything other than the drum beat for accompaniment.Vasanthi, a woman-centric film starring Swasika and Siju Wilson, was written, edited and directed by brothers Shinoz and Sajaz Rahman. Siju, who had bankrolled the film, had earlier told us that the film “has an experimental narrative, with bits of theatre elements woven in”.
